Trading in?

Thinking about trading in for an EVO or STi. I just got my MSP a few months ago, but I need a fast car. Anyway, do you think I should trade in or be happy with what I got? I would ask my mechanic, but I know what he will say (he juist bought an EVO).

Help?

You'll get ***** on a trade-in. I say stick it out and be happy with what you have...Then again, I couldnt afford the STI, so it's not even a consideration for me:)

What did you pay for the MSP?

If more then $18 then you will be out atleast $4K-$5K on a trade in.

It will take a considerable sum of money to run anywhere near an evo or STI especialy as most of those cars buyser have long stripped the common restriction items as any perfomance car buyer does.

It certainly is.

However you have to weight that vs no warrenty aswell.

Well if you do Trade in get the STi it is so much of a better car. If you want speed you can find '02 WRXs that are stage 2 for 17-20K

In the end if you cant afford an EVO or STi dont over extend your self to get one. The car you have now is cool.

Just seeing you online at 3:30am and me knowing that I'm not the only one makes me happy.

As for the car, keep it, put some mods into, and just love it.

If you can afford it and can afford to take the loss go for it. Personally I would wait a few years. At least you won't lose as much money then. You are either going to have to pay the difference, or have the difference tacked on to your next loan. If you add it in you are going to be in an even worse situation of negative equity than you are now. Enjoy what you have. Maybe something else will come out in 2-3 years that will strike your fancy even more than the Evo or STi. Good luck in whatever you choose.

EVO ! EVO !

IF you have the cash....and like those other dudes said don't mind loosing a bit O cash. Personally the EVO is THE car to have right now. I dream of torque OVER the HP number :D

I'm keeping my MSP forever! :D It's fast enough to get me in trouble and around the 18 wheelers. I don't race so I don't care if I'm not the fastest. I love the way the car looks and feels. The limited edition appeals to me also.

I LOVE MY MSP!!!!!!

a friend of mine has a EVO and in less than 2 months he's already toasted a clutch and that's just with normal driving. i'd say keep the MSP and enjoy it.

he hasn't drag raced the evo but he's raced me a few times from a kick in it. other than that he babies it. the clutches have been known to fail early though.

I think I have read about clutch problems for the EVO within the first 10k miles. Im not sure though. I just visit the site for pictures ;)

yeah my friends only has 3k miles on it...he's gonna get the clutch replaced though but he's gonna go ahead and get a aftermarket one but the dealership will cover the labor.

Toasted clutch... smells good...
3 of my friends just bought evos (lucky bitches) which leads me to my point, MSPs are just as exclusive as STIs and EVOs, they're popin up everywhere... But damn if you can afford and evo go for it... i think i would =D
