trading for an evo or sti

I keep seeing a bunch of threads with people wondering if an sti is a better performance car , or an evo 9 or x is better than our car etc etc.
bottom line is this , if I could have spent $23,750 on a new Evo 9 earlier this year i would have bought one , or even an sti. problem is that most of us that bought a speed3 bought it because it was a great performance car based on the dollar value of it, and to this day it still holds truer than any other car out there. We are talking about a $24,000 car that can keep up with a 2 to 3 year old bmw m3 that was top of the food chain a few years back (not counting exotic sports cars). So i think anyone asking themselves the question of the right choice, it's really about the right choice based on what your wallet will realistically allow. I make about 77k and i honestly would not want to pay more than the $500 a month that i am paying , so if having an Evo 9 means 650 a month.....let the next guy get it, maybe if one day I make 100k then perhaps I wont have to look for the best bargain out there.

I think the lowest car payment I've had was on a Chevy Metro... all 1.3l engine of it... 250.00 a month... lol I think the lug nuts required more torque than that little engine produced.... tq specs were like 85 or 90ftlbs...lol just a guestimate.

your probably right not many cars have torque specs lower than 100 lb-ft(for the lug nuts). though thats to deal with vehicle weight and torque on the wheels too.
