Tracks anyone?

In lieu of the upcoming dyno day (Reminder: 07-16-05 ) I was going to head down to the track tomorrow and was just wondering if anyone would like to go down? Just figure I put it out there and see if anyone is interested.

The track opens at 6pm and racing starts at 7pm. I'll be there early just in case it gets busy. I don't want to wait in line to long to run. Don't have your hopes up too high for my car as I will be running only 10 psi. I will be video taping though. I just want to be able to drive my car home afterwards. Considering my luck with this car I will probably drive it like a grandma! LOL!

hey dave, what kind of gas are you using at the tracks? I going down to meet up with you guys there but because of work I don't have a high enough octane gas to run full power. I know this is kind of far out but if you got an extra gallon or two you could spare, I'd be very thankful.

i dont know what their times were... but there was this stock 4 door tundra doing 15s on the track... MEAN!!!!

I got stuck doing 15.3 all night because I couldn't find any high octane gas. What a bummer.

Actually I'm too embarassed to post up my times. I was very disappointed. I couldn't even break into the 14's. The fastest time I could get was 15 flat and my average mph was 95 to 96 mph. I couldn't get traction till 3rd gear. First gear was useless. I was bearly giving 1/4 throttle and was spinning through 1st and 2nd gear. I think I will need better tires and maybe take out the 200 pounds worth of stereo equipment in the hatch. LOL! I will take out my sound first and see if there is a difference and if not then I will try different tires. If that don't work then I will drive the car into a wall!
