Track day at Texas World Speedway?

Well, to be honest, 3-4 runs in the whole day is more than enough for some because don't forget, think of each run is about 20 minutes, come back. If you're not sweating from working the steering wheel and all the g-forces, you shouldn't be there anyways. Don't be amazed if you get less than 10mpg also. It really is tiring after 2-3 runs so it's usually spread out that you get 1-2 runs in the morning and 1-2 runs in the afternoon, all spread out.

Been to TWS with The Drivers Edge except at the time, I was too young to drive or didn't have my license. That's a nice group to go with. So, is it really 7500 or what?

even with 75 people, thats a lot of money. i know i would be out, as with most of the other college aged folk.....
 
actually, i'll be the exception for college students. I would do anything if it's only 100 since I never have the chance to go to the track much. I would starve myself if I had to to go to the track. This is an opportunity for me to learn more about my limits and my cars limits. I figure if it's once a year, it's completely worth it.
 
No it's really 7500. And he basically said no we could just rent the track. There is to much paper work that would have to be done for every person for insurance purposes. So we either do his class or nothing. Thats what I got out of it.
 
bah, in that case, although it was a good effort, guess we can't set it up like we want, huh? Anyhow, they are holding 1 in early March but I won't be able to make that.
 
Yea, I'm done on this one. But I'm not done on the whole thing yet. Give me a while. I'm gona check some things out and see what we CAN do.
 
Yea I got the job you TARD.....they just let me come home for the weekend. They let me come home because I'm going back for 2 months....it's okay though i get paid a little over 6800 a month so blah.
 
You'd be better off renting MSR-HOuston. Talk to the guys there and see what they can do for you.....CHeeper rate for sure.

I"ll let you guys know when I get the time trial events off the ground through Porsche Club. :-) I estimate it will be sometime next year.

I still hold some fast fun autocrosses. :-)
