Anyone have pics of the tow/rescue hooks in the front?

I'm at work and the CX9 is stuck in the snow on the side of the driveway, and the brother in law is going to attempt to pull it out. I want to make sure it's done right, so no plastic is broken.

Good news, got it out without having to tow....just took a little digging.

I'll make sure to look under there tonight to see where they hooks are in the front. I found a pic online of the one in the rear.

There are no "hooks" in the front. You have to use the screw in "eye" found in the back near the jack.

You will find two plastic panels about 2" square on the lower bumper. You unsnap these from the bottom.

I just had to have my CX-9 towed due to a dead fuel pump... The tow truck driver said he hates these screw in eyes because they have been known to pull out of some cars due to weak threads. He saw one pull out of a Mercedes.

We had no issues using the provided eye on the CX-9 when winching the vehicle up on to the flatbed of the truck.
