Totally different tack - Lifting?

Hi Guys,

Ive been thinking about adding a little ground clearance to our CX-7 for some country roads we travel on with the big hump in the middle and just for general comfort - its a bit low to get in and out of with the kids etc for me.

I was thinking of trying to fit some larger tires - anyone know how big you can go at stock height? (its got the 18" rims on it BTW) without rubbing - if you cant fit much bigger than stock, I would consider a small lift

Could someone fill me in on the process of lifting on one of these - are we talking coil spacers? what else needs to be changed? Id only be after an inch or so - then go up in tire size to match...

Anyone out there doing this? or are you all lowering

Im actually doing this same thing, i personally am not a fan of the cx7 lowered, i have the nitto terra grapplers on mine (255/55/r18) and they are great. i haven't found any lift kits for the cx7 but am gonna talk to a few shops in the coming month
