argh...it seemed like big brakes were the perfect combination of show and performance and they cost a good 2Gs...oh well, I'll just sit back and wait to see what the next craz mod is...

this is the last of my major mods till I go turbo. Saving up now and have $1000 so far, will need about $10000 to do my ill ass turbo, engine, tranny, drivetrain mods. Will be done all at once so I figure in about 2.5-3 years from now(unless I win the lottery)

Yea tell me about it .. I want to go turbo and use my nitrous for an IC sprayer and get the built tranny from Lentech ... Total cost would probably be around $8000 plus install

could lentech get the tranny to hold +500hp and be reliable. I've heard of other companies, cant remember right now to tired and about to go to bed, but they've had problems with the trannies. I will be 250hp daily driver and over 500hp at the track with my gt30 turbo.

I think it is built for 500hp - its the Focus tranny which is basically the same as ours. I only want 300 wheel hp

Lentech has the Street Terminator PLUS tranny... rated to withstand up to 500whp..
but what engine are you boosting to 500whp?

why our little fs engine,what kind of a (silly) question is that.lol. think it cant be done? with the gt30, ported intake, built shortblock, beefed-up valvetrain, just to give a genneral idea, it will be a sinch. notice this is why it will take me 10grand alone just on engine and tranny alone with ems to get to this. well, hopefully, I'm no real expert but i'm sure it can be done.

I'll take you up on that beer, don't forget if one day some guy comes up to your door and says, "So, how 'bout that beer?" But I am realistic and this will only happen in like 3- 3.5 years and by that time I'm sure some other person will have accomplished this.
