MP3- Owner: how did you go about puutting the cone filter on there in place of the airbox without getting a check engine light?
Initial33: where did you get your mint blue grill? how much? etc.
to the guy with the severly modded msp whos griping about people having little to no mods on there mp3....... lets see here....
IM 18, i have a car payment, i ahve to pay insurance, and i ahve to pay for anything else i want and i dont have a REAL job (i make sub boxes for friends at $75 a piece) so i consider myself lucky to ahve what mods i do have. Plus, stuff for these cars performance wise is exspensive when im used ot buying parts for a 91 Z28. that is all.

3. Tara, she lives on here own makes all of her bills and was able to do a shitload in a years time or less. So really ya have no excuse. Unless the fact of the matter is your not doing anything to your car period cuz you like it stock, and theres nothign wrong with that at all. Just dont understand why u'd post a stock mp3 in here and hope for it to be considered a top rated mp3.

ryan you are missing the point once agian. you are putting some one down b/c they have not "hooked up" there car fast enough for you. doesn't matter if they had the car a day or 10 years. Some people don't have the financial resources to "hook up" their car and you should not put these people down b/c of it.

thats not what i was trying to impy at all, ehre let me put it in easier terms, some people dont ahve the finances or time to mod there cars, some just simply dont want to, and in case you haven't noticed this post isn't a compition to see who ahs the best mp3 its just a post for everyone to shwo off what they have. and i meant after paying all that i have other things i'd rather spend my money on than car parts, i've had my fast car, which would eat about 98% of the cars on this forum.... so im just glad ot ahve a cnie car that gets good gas mileage and goes form point a to b, im proud of what i have.

Why wouldn't this MP3 be top rated??? We've built this car for roadrace and autox without any expense spared. We really don't care about form, function being the primary objective. The majority of people out there will not notice the suspension mods done to this MP3.

Most people can barely spend on their whole car what we've spent on suspension and brakes for Sean's. But really it doesn't matter to me. His track times are what make this a top rated MP3 and the competition he can out turn.
The way one should rate a car is by measuring how well a vehicle was built for their respective function. While also taking into consideration the caliber of product used.
All that Carbon Fiber crap for the inside of the cars doesn't mean diddly to us. Just extra weight cause they are all overlays and cheap looking. All this cheap ass a/v equipment that came from Taiwan. All this extra weight.
At AutoRnD we build cars with quality in mind not quantity.
Like what would you rate as a top MP3.
MP3 with 500lb stereo system, Ground Controls, slammed, with Tenzo R 18's and all this carbon crap and wings west kit.
MP3 with lightweight wheels, Fully integrated coilovers, lightweight everything. Completely functional, car does what it's supposed to do and totally kicks ass doing it.
Top Rated is all perspective. IMO, the only ones who can express a negative opinion here are those who have a higher rated MP3. However if your car can't compare to ours or another's, I don't believe you've earned a place to criticize.
Total Spent on Sean's car: $5000.00 approx. $1000 into body. $3000 into wheels and suspension. $1300.00 on exhaust and performace mods. we've just begun.
Anyways, just to help educate you since you may not know much about the car I displayed above.

depends, what your gonna do with the car, wether ur gonna autocross, drag, or show.
