top product in each category..?

ok so ive been saving up this winter and still am, getting ready for the spring to spend a big wad on just mods, but so many times ive seen myself confused about which brand to buy.. i dont really care about brand loyalty, just getting the best parts. i'll start my confusion list :P

intake: i was leaning more to the corksport because it comes with the turbo inlet. i dont want a cold air, im looking for just a ram, and the corksport was the one i think i want to get.

intercooler: i thought the cobb looked very clean and well designed and read some good stuff about it, but i also looked at the turboxs which caught my eye.

down pipe/catback: originally i was looking at the hks hipower exhaust, i heard it has a pretty nice sound. down pipes got me lost, i want one that wont throw cels and im pretty sure i want it catted but at the same time i would like to end up with a nice sound, not a v8 garggle, something loud but clean.

motor mounts: i have no clue which ones to get.

tuning: i looked into the unichip, but i heard some iffy stuff and thought it would be too complicated so i was leaning again towards the cobb.

thanks for anyones input :P

intake-http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123732403 replaced his cobb sf with the corksport. i have the cobb and i love it so far. also check aamguys sticky.

intercooler-dont really know

downpipe- gonna have to wait for someone else to chime in but i think catted will keep away the cel but ive also heard theres 2 little tricks to keep a catless cel free as far as cbe its really just sound, i read today though that the hks isnt completely stainless steel and can possibly rust?

motor mounts-depends on how your gonna drive and how much vibes you can withstand. popular ones are trz dogbone, SU mount, awr, and cpe. i know theres a review for the cpe. heres a "guide" from one of the other forums. http://www.mazda*3*forums.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=2addc1a4ce44d8b07e28d768c75ea7ba&topic=75832.0 just take out the stars

tuning-not a clue, i know theres cobb ap, cpe standback, and the xede. i heard the new cobb maps are pretty good. still no race/accesstuner? though so basically OTS maps. they can make custom maps but im pretty sure you have to go to texas or washington. the cpe i heard is great you just have to get a feel for it and how to use it. im assuming once you get the hang of it the amount of tweaking/fine tuning is great.

thats basically what ive gathered from this site so far, theres alot more educated people that will give you better ideas and input but this should get you started. good luck spending that wad man and keep us updated(drinks)
