Top Gear: The Nurburgring

You know, I bet any one of us could beat that time in an MSP or MP5T, or MP3T, or SEDAN turboed' So long as we got the whole day before to prepare like he did...easily, as I'm sure our suspension pwns that one, and with the almost as high HP of a MSP, or other Turbo could easily keep pace, if not surpass his time. And I know for a fact my MSP feels nice at 220kmh, so I'm sure the striaghts would be no challenge, and the corners, easy(after some practice and learning the brake points, and turn in points and apex and s***.). Easy I say, EASY.

I think so too, plus it had a disel, and their red line is like at 3500RPM or something = mad shifting.

that suxs -- all i get is the sound clip -- no picture :(
That sounds like a codec problem bones. As for Matty, Im not really sure what his problem is. Maybe clear his cache out? Not sure.

I've seen the green hell in person several times. To be perfectly honest, I think there are maybe a handful of people on this forum that could take on 10 minutes. I will be riding it hopefully this summer on a duc 998 when I go out to visit again. My 2nd cousin lives not 20 minutes from nordschleif and runs his MR2 there weekly.

I've done about 300 laps on project gotham racing 2. Most people have probally done the same, like the guy said, its much different then that game. I think anyone would be lucky to break 10 mins.

"I was ignoring you, I'm a man" that was hilarious. I really want to go there on a bike.

Bike's aren't favored there. Blistering speed on the straights, awkward cornering..It's always the old school 911's vs. the modified M3's. The bikes are always getting knocked off the track or screaming into the trees at 120mph.

I'd like to run that track.. I wonder how much it would cost in the future to bring my car there with me on a vacation, then bring it back

Prolly too much, just rent an exotic car when ur there..much cheaper..and faster. PS, I've driven that track alot on PG2 also..thats where I topped out the Enzo....thats also where I hit one of the berm curbs and got some air inder the car and sumersaulted it...once I realized how cool that looke, I did that a few times...then realized how glad I am I wasn't doing that with a real Enzo...lol. I think we could break 10 with some time on the track...and a young mind to remember things...lol..sorry old people..I love being young.

I could break 10 in real life in a different car

it would just take a LOT of practice to learn the proper speed for each corner

I want to marry that woman. No question. No waiting. No argument from her.

Also, if you listen closely the song they play during her drive at the end, it's a "techno" version of the Aria from the movie Platoon, one of my favorite pieces -- the original, that is.

We do get it here on the Speed Channel-Fifth Gear..check your local providers to see if they have it.

Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. Yeah, it's a pretty popular piece used in many places. Very beaultiful.
