Hey wats up guys and gals. I have a 03.5 MSP and short block was Blown a month ago.
I replaced the blown short block with a N/A 02 protege short block. I swapped my MSP head over and used a buddy of mines torque wrench to torque the head on block. I broke 1 head bolt onto the short block the first time. I got that fixed. I started all ovEr, torqued it the right ib. Givin by the manuals book and instruction It did not feel right. So i rent a torque wrench just to double check the right pressure of ib. It turned out I torqued every bolt between 110-120 ib. On Each bolt I stopped @ 110 ib cause I didn't wanna break a bolt again and some didn't budge. Is it okay to run it with that much ib of torque on bolt head?I've been driving it for 3 weeks now with no signs problem with my engine. What's bad about it and what's not? Thanks
