You can try searching for this for more detail if you want. I have seen comments from people saying that there were obstructions in their valves when they got them. The posts I remember say that they blew through the valve and could tell that something came free and the flow increased. A blockage should cause the boost to run higher than normal. Hope this helps.

ah, just have the update, last night when we were testing the boost, the adjusting screw apparently flew off into the streets of the unknown, so i went out and made a "modified" adjusting pin, and i was able to knock the boost below 10psi, its running about 9psi now..... i didn't realize the adjusting screw was...well... no longer...oops
