god damn matthew...your car is sex. now question, how the mother **** do you make your car so shiny and not have rock chips and s***?
i dont have any rock chips, but i do have tons of scratches that get partially hidden with a good layer of wax...and i have a pretty bad ding by the passenger door handle - which is the only points i lost during the show. i spent four hours cleaning the wheel wells, etc etc. hell there was nothing else to do...but to answer you guys' questionsBlueWolfCry said:
i did not wax before the show..i waxed her about 3 weeks ago...all i used for the show was meguire's quick detailer and rags. when i got there (i drove 1.5hrs to the show yesterday) i had driven through rain, bugs, and mud, so i had to spend some time cleaning her before the judging started to say the least. when i do wax, i use meguires as well. i used to use turtle wax but to me it seems like meguires works better for hiding scratches. i really need to touch up like a million places on my car...but i really dont know how to use touch up properly and what not.
