Well, my favorite racing game of all time would have to be Rush2.
GT3 is nice PGR2 is fun, TXR:Z was great but Nothing can top Rush2. Honestly whats more fun than flying a Chevy Suburban 400ft through the sky and landing infront of a knock-off 355 to take the win. Someone should make a remake of that game...

not sure about you, but my P5 handles almost the smae at 65 and 120. Sure I'm a lot more careful about steering inputs at 120, but it has the exact same characteristics.....Thats like saying my car handles the same at 40 as it does at 20...In TXR you're mainly just weaving and passing at high rates of speed and pulling for top end speed. I find it very realistic. The cars become very twitchy above 160mph....where my car crusies. Maybe if you played it a little longer and actually got some power out of your car youd feel the difference.

Ever play Ford Racing 2 on xbox? It's out for $20 and is pretty cool. I'm a ford guy so it's probably more appealing to me than others, but it's an arcadey style racing game that uses good car models, good courses and a range of gameplay. The physics.....well, let's not discuss that!

sense of speed? If you're refering to buildings whizzing past you than yeah, you may have a point, but try weaving through the chicane of traffic at 190+mph and tell me if there's not a sense of speed!

i just hope for a COMPLETE racing game. courses, cars, physics, everything

supposedly gt4 will be so realistic, pro race car drivers will be able to practice driving courses (such as laguna seca) to help them in the real races.

GT4 will be the best racing game ever (IMO). The GT series is not for everyone thats for sure. Some people like it some love it. GT3 is the only game that I can think of that I have played damn near every week for 3years. With its 900 degrees of rotation and revamped physics and online play GT4 will be sucking up a large amount of my time.

I like the Ricey-ness of NFS-U, but it's definatly not the greatest game, but neither is Tokyo Extreme. There good games, just not the best. I found Project Gotham better than both, and I'm getting PG2 in the next 2 weeks, and it's probably just as good. The best racing game is different for every person, because, it's in the eye of the beholder. People like NFS:U for the amount of upgrades available, sure over 50% of those are looks only, but hey, you can customize. Project G is good for graphics and game play. So on and so forth.

I didnt like PGR 1 that much but I got my xbox and PGR2 for xmas and I have yet to open my other games.

i dont know about you all, but i absolutely hated midnight club 2. biggest waste of $6 evar. im glad i only rented it. i cant believe psm gave it a perfect 10

PGR2 and Medal Of Honor and then it came with that Tetris and Star Wars s***. MOH sux so Im going ot trade that in and buy Rainbow Six or Crimson Skies. I have Raven Shield on the PC thou so I might get Crimson Skies.

what sucks?? I thought Mignight Club was garbage also. I'm tired of games that have grpahics over gameplay. TXR3 is the worst looking of the newer racers but it provides the most long term gameplay for me. I've already beaten over 320 racers....not to mention the 80+ I've lost to. I'm almost halfway through!! Also, there are so many customizing options I still have left to unlock and hidden cars. Between TXR and Sega GT I have very little time left for other games....

Racing video games are life....the rest is just some stupid slogan on a t-shirt.

lol, no this game... its just.. bad. Not just the graphics are bad but the controls a flawed the gameplay is flawed it just sucks!

TXR is awesome. You think the controlls are flawed?? they are the exact same as GT3. The handeling is very accurate in terms of how cars react at high speed. I think the "reviews" I'm getting from people are negative because you guys haven't gotten anywhere in the game. You need to come and play my cars and tell me if you think it's bad. There's nothing like going nose-to-nose with a 700hp Viper at 200mph weaving in and out of traffic. I have worn out the edge of my seat from hours of late night racing.

How about we totally ignore the previous 3 pages of posts and stay on topic now. This thread was for people who are playing the game, enjoy it and have tips to share. If you don't like the game; thats fine. Go put neon lights and stickers on your car. People that value gameplay over graphics and rap music need to post.
