Follow the directions in my sig

i think yours works so well because you have your BOV on the turbo > IC pipe. Alot of us guys have our BOV's on the IC > TB pipe. Therefor we are venting after the IC pressure drop and after the maf has "counted" the air.

maf counts the air when it comes thru, doesnt matter where the bov is...well unless you have your maf on hte pressurized side....

hehe remember its a mazda SPEED, not a mazda sound..... (naughty) To tell ya the truth it shouldnt sound that bad...with an intake and the stock bpv @10psi it sounded almost as loud/good as my dsm running 13psi with a greddy s set to soft. Honestly at these low boost levels and low hp levels I doubt it will make a noticable difference performance wise if you recirc or not..the only thing is you'll stall on quick slow downs and be more prone to back fire....I personally say screw the maf and just convert to map like the mp3 guys....oh star i didnt mean any of that towards you, I was just throwing up some points...sorry if it came off like i was aiming it at your response...
didn't take any offense to it. those are good points that you raised like i said.

ask 1fastmp5 how his type S was setup. i remember that it was very loose, so that even at 1psi the thing would give off a nice piercing pssssh. driveability wasn't as good as a recirculated setup, but he said he never stalled.

looks like you have it set too hard. Its going to stall if set to hard or soft. Does it on alot of turboed cars. Try starting at 5 or 6 threads and keep turning it hard or soft a turn at a time.

I hace decided to recirculate my type s. although ti got it to work fine w/minimal stalling, when ever i punch it the car hesistates worse than it did before...and i have a hunch it may be due to the overly rich conditions created by the type s. maybe im way off

As DSMConvert says, the MAF has allready registered the air even if the BOV is on the tubo-intercooler pipe.

I'll let you know how mine works out on the intercooler throttlebody pipe in a few weeks. Got the Hiboost FMIC and Perrin SRI on order now and hope to do an install next weekend.
