So I'm really thinking of getting one of the ETS TMIC's for my MS3. Are the hp/torque gains very noticeable? Also what size is best? ETS has the 3", 3.25", and the 3.5". I've read that the 3.25" won't rub if you have the stock rear engine mount but the 3.5" will. Is the metal shroud on the 3.5" thick? I have a dremel with heavy duty cutting disks for cutting metals such as aluminum, would that work on the shroud to shave some of the back of the shroud off? This is the dremel I have if it matters at all:

Performance wise, would there be a big difference between the 3.25" and the 3.5"?

i installed the 3.5 with out the mount and drove it for a bit, i cut the metal shroud about 1/4" off the back, when i was driving i didnt hear anything but i didnt gun it off the line, the next day i installed the SU mount just incase.

no problems installing anything.

even if you have the 3.25 i think you should cut some slots or about 1/4" off the whole back.

when i installed it, i already had the ms cai, the car felt better in the higher rpms, actually all around better but thats where i noticed the biggest difference. i dont know of any dynos in my area, so i cant say for sure if or how much hp was gained but it felt like it. i just installed the vibrant downpipe-back exhaust and now the car has no problem reving up to 6500 rpms.
