I've seen some that have painted just the outside part (heat shield/shroud) black and that looks pretty nice. I've also seen ones with the whole thing powdercoated black which also looks nice, although in my opinion there is already enough black in the engine bay. Incorporating the color of your car to the TMIC would be something I'd be interested in seeing.
BTW, when did you purchase the TMIC from **********? If it's a recent buy I'd like to know if they finally released the new version or if it's still the original version, let us know how you do with the tabs and tube fitment, hopefully all will be good.
