Tires !! Help me plz!

So anyway i need to get new tires and i need input from other ppl. So right now i have the 215/40/ZR17 size/type tires and they are worn out. i need new ones and i was thinking of either going with 215/45/ZR17 instead. or maybe 225/40/ZR17. what do u guys think? i need alot of input thank you.

-what suspension mods.
-what kind of tire do you want (performance, all-season, winter, etc)
-is there anything you didn't like about the 215-40-17.
