Just wondering if some of you from Canada ordered their tires and had them shipped north.
No problems? long delays?
(drive)

Not generally. You'd just have to pays duties and various taxes.

I recommend getting them shipped somewhere in the States, drive over and mount them on your car, then drive back....

You can also check out 1010tires.com they are in BC and you will save the charges that UPS like to smack you with

I compared some things between 1010 and tirerack and your still saving alot by buying through tirerack. I've delt with them 2 times already, saved a ton of money and shipping takes 3-4days to your door.

Thanks for the reply guys.
The cool thing from tirerack is that they include brokerage and custom fees in your cart when checking out.
And if shipping is 3-4 days...that's pretty fast...I'll try them.

I ordered 2 sets of tires and 1 set of rims from tirerack to Winnipeg. They came in 4 days. The process was simple, as they are very Canada Friendly. They have a deal with UPS Canada, and you pay for duty and taxes upfront. If you want to know what the total will be, go through the ordering process without finalizing it and you can see all costs, no hidden taxes and fees. Duty was only $50 for all of it. I saved a bundle.

Blizzak on their way...
380 USD for 4 blizzaks 185/65/14 all included

Compare to around 130 each + tx here in montreal...now we wait for UPS!

Nice! Blizzaks eh? I heard those tires are abit noisy though...maybe I'm wrong. I went with Dunlop sport m3's myself and was amazed last year. Ya it's almost dumb if you don't buy from tirerack especially with the CAD $$.
