is there anything i can do for my wheel hop. When im boosting instead of spinning tires and hearing alil screetch all i get is bounce. What do i need to do. i thought it might need better suspension. Thanks!!
Lighter wheels, Rear motor mount, Transmission mount, heavier springs.
And you could also borrow the lunch lady to hold down the suspension.
probably need a WRX conversion.
replacement bushings for lower control arms.
darkstar motorsports made a set for mazda3, still waiting for them to make bushings for ms3.

launch in Reverse.
Truth be known, the real culprit for our wheel hop is the low aspect ratio tires and the big rims in a front wheel drive car with our suspension geometery, not the mounts. Members of this board who are regularly racing their cars at the strip are going down to 16 inch rims and drag radials or tires with a lot more sidewall. The "taller" sidewalls of drag radials or even 60 series aspect ratio tires absorb the shock and wheel hop goes away.
Those posters claim that while the harder MM's do nothing to tame wheel hop, although they help a great deal with making that 2-3 shift a lot easier.
The hop is due to the nature of our FWD suspension geometry. Example:

It's not practical to run 16's with tall sidewalls on the street and screw up our great handling in the corners. So, some wheel hop is going to be inevitiable. The best way to minimize it on stock wheels and tires is to feather the throttle to try to keep the tires just at the break away point with minimal wheel spin in first and second before hammering to shift point in third and up.

Thats right the LCA bushing is the way to go. Any update where to get some.
WE NEED BUSHINGS
holy dead-thread revival.
Yeah I also been tried of wheel hop, so I did a search and found not much. So I figured I can see if any one had a update.
