Thats what I say, but theres still people that say "its not worth it so why make it", or they just dont want to attempt it because its beyond their skill level or will take too much of their time to make..If anyone wants full 3 inch turbo back 3 inch stainless or aluminized you pick muffler/resonator/cat layout and you live in NJ, you should KNOW where to go!

okay, sorry it took so long to update, but i finally got a hold of Culver. their shop has been swamped the past 2 weeks. they've been so busy, they couldn't stop working to answer any phone calls, except for his secretary, but Culver is either working on a car, or discussing something with a customer there in person about how something needs to be done, so i couldn't ask him about the downpipe until he would come on the phone (which was today fortunately). so until everything in his shop that needs to be done is done (that he took on before the downpipe), he has to postpone making the piece.

just letting you know that you can take my name off the list, i can tell that this is not a priority for him, which means he is definitely not going to do a 3" version, which is what i wanted in the first place, so i am just going to do my own...thanks anyways

If it's stainless steel, why don't you get one for me?

If you read some of DSM's posts, you'd know that SS doesn't really mean much at all.

I paid $250 for my J-pipe back exhaust (I guess that's the correct term for it).

That's fine, but I sure as s*** won't be putting mild steel under my car. If I ever needed to drive my car during winter months here in NY, that s*** would rust off in about 5 minutes. So yeah, stainless steel is what I buy.

Like I said, you obviously didn't read:

At the moment we're currently debating which materials to use/offer..on the list is galvanized steel, galvanized aluminum, and stainless steel(very expensive and doesnt really offer any advantages other than being shiny..hehe against our motto!). I'm not too worried about rusting as everything that leaves this shop is painted, sealed, and warrantied for life even against rust.

That's all fine and dandy, but from past experience, it's never perfect. I don't exactly want to be pulling the thing off in order to get the warranty. Galvanized would certainly work pretty well. We'll have to see...

But to address me not reading... this damn thing is 16 pages long and full of "bumps" / asking for updates, I will surely miss a comment or two. I do try to do other things aside from surfing this forum, on occassion anyway.

so let me get this str8 the down pipe does not have to be cast like the one that is stock?? cause I was going to make My own, But when I seen that I was too sure that I was going to be able to, so we would be able to use aluminized exhaust pipe to make a new DP??
