Tire wear.. camber???

Have any of you ever checked the wear pattern your tires... I looked last night and it seems as if my front passenger tire has some camber to it as the inside is dramatically more worn then the outside of the tire... the other tires don't have a noticeable difference... but this you can really see and feel....

If you've figured out how to get some negative camber into our cars, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I am trying to get 2-3 deg. It will greatly improve my understeer issue in autoX.
As for street tires wearing like that, I haven't run into that. I run the corners too hard and don't drive straight roads much..

F'n dealer

Ok I call up my dealership cause I will jhust ask out of curiosity to get my alignement checked.... cause I am not too sure about all the specifics on the warranty issues...

I call him up and tell him about my problem.

manager: well sir we can't do nothing cause you have put aftermarket tires on there....

me: they are stock..

manager: well the rims are not stock so... we can't cover it....

me: those are stock as well

manager: Well you shouldn't of lowered the car.....

me: stop accusing me of causing the problem.... I didn't change nothing...

manager: Well hold on I will be right back....

manager: well you have 33 000 kms so it's over the 20 000 kms.. so no warranty... anymore...

me: hangs up the phone.....

You only get a 20k km warranty? We get a 3yr/36kMile warranty here in the states. That's gotta suck. Maybe try a different dealer that knows what the hell they are looking at.

tire

My front passenger tire did the same thing. I couldn't even pass inspection. Mazda said the same thing and I only have 11,000 miles on my MP3. They said my tred had to be a quater of an inch left. I think the front chambers are bad or the tire was a defect, but after hearing your problem I think something is wrong with the car.

How come none of us avid autocrossers are having any "camber" problems. We drive hard, we push the car, because of its awsome setup. Yet we complain when we push it to hard

My 1.7 cents USD

i have 25,000 miles on my car. and have normal wear patter. no abnormal wear on my end. i keep my tires at 35 all around and rotate them from front to straight back when ever i change my oil. i guess im lucky. and no offense, but i wouldnt expect an alignment to be warrantied for more than a year. Have you tried a different dealership. also to the

PRINT THESE OFF AND GO TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY HAVE TO PROVE THE MOD CAUSED THE PROBLEM you probably know that, but FIGHT THE ******* DEALERSHIP MAN, YOU CAN WIN.

I'm not gonna go out and look right now to be sure. If my memory is correct, you can screw with the camber and caster in the front. The upper strut mount is not centered in the plate that bolts to the chassis. it is offset front to rear aond right to left. This makes it possible to bolt it up in whatever position you would like. Front or rear and in or out. This is going to obviously adjust either the caster or camber. I think this is correct. I could be wrong. I'm too lazy to go look
