Tire Warranty?

So my tire sensor light came on the other day, so I took my car to a local tire store to get checked out. Turns out the tire had a nail which penetrated through and rubbed the sidewall, forming a bubble. With this type of damage a repair is impossible and I now have to replace my new tire with a NEW TIRE! Is there no warranty for road hazzards on tires which come on new cars? My car/tires only have 3k mile on them Im hoping I can at least get a prorated price on a new Dunlop. If anyone has had any experience in dealing with this, let me know. Im pretty sure Im screwed but any input helps.

Thanks,
Chris

Yes you cannot repair damages to the sidewalls. There isnt a warranty on tires from the factory, but you might be able to get a warranty from the tire vendor.

Original tires do come with a warranty. The owners handbook package has information
on tire warranties and where to get service. It's a manufacture defect warranty, not a hazard warranty. The warranty is provided by the tire manufacturer.
