Tire Rack Information

Considering I am in need of some new rubber and the Canadian dollar is at parity with that of the US, I have decided to order some new tires for the P5.

I looked on Tire Rack and immediately spotted the aggressive tread pattern of the Sumitomo HTR Z II's. I read some reviews about them and analyzed the chart for performance and they seem to be amazing tires... all mine for the price of $68 each!!

Now my question to those who have ordered from Tire Rack...

Are there any duties or extra taxes I will have to pay since I live in Canada?? How about shipping??

Looks like I'll have to contact my local UPS store for info on taxes and duties....

Shipping is an extra $$77!!

why not drive down to a local installer and have them put them on the car. Then drive back! No taxes no duties no shipping. There must be an installer in Burlington VT.

Have them dropped shipped to a store in the US. Drive across the boarder to the store. Get the installed. Drive back.

But they may not do this with a Canadian credit card. Worth a shot though.
