All,
I've just taken my 6 months old CX-9 in for 7500 miles service. I noticed the service report says that front brakes are at 12/32, rear 10/32 and tires 9/32.
If I were to read this the way I assume it's to be read, it means in another 6 months and 7500 miles, the brake pads and tires will have to be replaced! I've read elsewhere in this forum that somebody replaced their OEM tires at 39000 miles, the way it is going with my tires, it doesn't seem like they will last that long.
Could somebody share your experience, are these common usage patterns? FYI, I don't race or peeled out, I do occasionally enjoy the strong pull the 263 HP engine produced
Do we have how-to measure brake pads and tires thread post on this forum somewhere?
Thank you.
