tintin the car

I'll have to keep that in mind... I may get something light, like 20%
I also plan on paying a visit to that Akron shop once my "entertainment & misc." budget has saved enough. ;)

I wonder if the metallic films fall within the bounds of the 'no reflective tints' rule... (I suspect the answer is yes.)

I totaly forgot about this place
http://www.qwtint.com/
a couple of my friends got their cars tinted there last year...they do an amazing job and a lifetime warranty comes with it too....
and its on morse rd so anyone from columbus can get there no problem

Yeah, quailty does really good job!! The boyfriends subaru was done there and it was fast and looks great

awesome... and as for the not bein able to see so great in the nite with the tints my probe had about 20 in the back and it was pretty tough to see in the nite time... especially backin up in bfe where there were no lights... and i may have to check out quality thanks eeeerbudy!

My previous Civic sedan was tinted with 35 all around and got a ticket in Yellow Springs. It was all glass so it was like a fishbowl and thought I'd never be hassled because it looked so light

Next time I won't take the chance and will keep the side windows at 50. Nothing like paying for it twice and having to tear it off (five-0)

wouldnt that make the tint look darker sinse a lighter color would offset the dark tint and make it look lighter..at least thats how i look at it idk...mine is silver so hopefully ill be ok with 35 all around

you might be right but I do know the police (and I use that term loosely) in YS are pricks, they park on the main State Route 68 and pick people off all day long for anything they can (piss)

so here they are i hope, ill get some more of before/after i put my eibach pro kit on lemme know what you think!

It kinda looks like mine, it reflects really well and but yet its still not even close to being illegal.:)

yea it has a refective tint to it, but it is 30% all around... so its kinda illegal, but yea she looks pretty nice i went to quality window tint and it was 203 with tax, not too bad i dont think!

MeinP5, thanks for that info on Ernies Tint Creations. I'm going to set up an appointment monday morning.

So let me get this perfectly straight because I want to stay legal;
50% driver and passenger front side windows
25% rear sides and back window

That's legal, right? I want a pretty dark tint because I'm a musician and sometimes I have to leave my gear in my car after a gig at a venue for a bit and don't want people peeking in on my $2000 upright bass.

hey 50% is pretty light i think anyways, i went with 30 all around and i havent had any trouble from the (five-0) (knock on wood) 20 in the back would be pretty dark, you'll have to post up some pics, and good luck!

30% is good. Police really don't mess with you unless you give them a reason to pull you over. That's when they use the tint law against you.
