Hey I now have 166,xxx miles on my car and the ac just went out. Anyways I got it fixed and was wondering what I might need in order to get my timing belt replaced. I know they sell the kits but I was wondering if I necessarily need the whole kit. Also if there are any other seals or o-rings I might need to give to the mechanic so that I dont get charged twice like I did with my ac. Thanks for the help.

Buy the kit and be done with it, cause even if you do just only replace the timing belt your water pump could go out and you are back at square one taking the timing belt off again. For what it's worth, anytime you have to take half your motor apart just to replace one item, you might as well replace everything else so you can have a piece of mind.
