does the car make the same sound while UNDER boost? or only for a second right as the turbo spools up? i really dont think it's your bottom end from the sound of the video.

will do. thanks. it's really hard to tell if it comes on at boost, because the turbo spools in the middle of that range, and it becomes hard to hear it. i hear it sometimes when i'm in that speed range, and then give it gas to spool and i hear it a little

it could be your turbo, heat sheild, wga, ect... it's really had to tell without seeing the car.

damn...im starting to notice a ticking at low rpms on my car too...and im not even boosted!...im gonna go check for exhaust leaks...but from your video, it sounded very similar to that...

it's not the exhaust leaking. there's something in the engine bay rattling against another metal piece. i'm gonna have a good look under the car to see if i can fix the j-pipe attachment. blah !

well albert, hope yours isn't as bad as mine...it's super whack.

i think it's your heat shield. you should have three of them.... one on your mani, one on your turbo, and one on your j-pipe. check those to see if they are loose or have any missing bolts.

i usually hear it when the car is between 2000 and 2500 rpms...after that, my exhaust drowns out the sound...
