what's up everyone. at idle my car ticks a lot, and it's pissing me off, does everyone else's madaspeed tick like that or is it just mine? if it's mine i need to do something if they're all like that i guess i'll live, but to me it sounds kinda like valve slap but LOW and at idle, also it sounds liek it's once per 4 strokes, not fast like every single combustion if you know what i mean...
any insight would be appreciated...

Yep mine does the same thing only at idle though.

You have to be a little more specific. It can be an exhaust leak, valve train problem, or maybe even a bent rod. ???

I managed to get that time, but the clutch was slipping bad, couldn't improve on it.

My car does the same thing at idle. Never gave me any problems.

Same here. It gets on my nerves sometimes then I'm sitting at a stoplight or drive through or something cause it bounces off the cars/wall, but past 5,000 rpms it goes away(crazy)

If the sound you're talking about is the same sound I'm hearing then it's because all dohc engines sound like that. Turbo and NA.

Yes, someone finally got it. I was worried when I first heard/noticed mine do it. when I spoke to the techs where I worked at they said it was normal. If you put your ear to a metal screw driver and look for the noise you can hear the injectors opening.
