Thunder Turbo Mani vs SteedSpeed Mani

meet with a guy tonight from toprotege.com he said he has owned both the v1 and v2 and well to put it nice, he says they are easily broken...and something about wanting to take his nice new steedspeed manifold and smash his v2 with it. maybe he got one from a bad batch, maybe they are all junk i dunno.

IF you are talking about who I think you are talking about he does not own a V2.

combined with 626 intake mani, cold air intake, new smic, hard piping, midpipe and down pipe theres no increase? for people not wanting to up the boost and blow s*** up, why the **** buy it then? im just sayin, more and more i hear about it, its like ****** forget it then. for something that cost 600 bucks it better ****** do something(combined with all the parts and mods i listed above) other than look good.

I guess you dont really read, yes it does gain, but not as much as people think, cause on a turbo system the Mani doesnt do taht much, the turbo does all the work, if it was non turbo'd, then yes it would really make a difference, but it is a turbo mani not just a exhaust mani.

Im not expecting that much gain fromt he steedspeed, or if I had t he thuner, i dont expect that much gain eaither.... At stock boost, but IMHO at higher boost I think the steedspeed would start pulling away, but stock boost wise, they are about the same, but It is true that the steedspeed is like a tank, you can prob, shoot a shotgun at it and it will somehow blow up the shotgun o.0 I know right.

if you have high intake manifold pressure and low exhaust manifold pressure power skyrockets. this is how you make lots of power out of small engine and why low comp. high boost pwns high comp low boost. any loss of backpressure will give gains but on a near stock motor why bother aside from looking nice and the steedspeed looks to be much stronger than stock. i was very impressed seeing one in person.

if you are running stock boost you aint going to gain much. Running over 1 bar and you will see alot of gains. the stock manifold (while fragile) is fine for low boost.
