As much as I hate to say it, it is kind of the same thing....that's why I still have the mazda badge on mine.

As much as I hate to say it, it is kind of the same thing....that's why I still have the mazda badge on mine.

I wasn't talking about all MS logos. The trunk badge in particular only came on MSPs. If you like it thats cool, I just can't be a hypocrite laughing at people w/ SI and Type-R logos on stock civics while I have a MSP badge on a NA car.

Well that particular badge only came on MSPs. So it is kinda similar...

V-tec badge on non V-tec car
MSP badge on non turbo car

But I can also see how the MS name can be applied loosely since it is a brand name for multiple Mazda vehicles. And it's not as bad as a Skyline GTR emblem stuck on a Mustang, Civic or Toyota.

Listen, I knew some people wouldn't like the 'Mazdaspeed' badge on a non-Mazdaspeed car. I liked the looks of it much better than the stock 'Mazda' logo, and the black matches my black car well IMO. Believe me, I am no ricer/street racer type of guy that thinks I am fooling anyone by simply having a badge on my car. I am 27 years old and am much, much too old for that kinda of crap. If you don't like it, that is cool....but it is staying on the car cause I like it.

Thanks again everyone for the comments....even the negative ones. I like my car alot more now with my new wheels. I am trying just to go for a nice clean look without being too flashy, and I think that the old Protege is looking pretty good IMO.

I upgraded the calipers and rotors about a year and some ago to KVR slotted, but ya they do look kinda small now. I think they were the same size as the stock ones.

yeah slotted helps dissipate the gas build up and improves brake performance but damn they look tiny, lol. you should get like a 12 or 13 inch brake kit, would DEFINITELY stop your car better too (headbang)
