those with SPARCO GLOBE shift knobs!! help!!

how many pieces came in the package?? i bought it from e-bay and i only have two pieces and there's no way to put it on my shifter without the long inside piece..what i have is the knob and the little thing that screwed into the knob..so can anyone confirm me that I am missing a piece??
