Those who modified headlights

Hey you guys who opened up your headlights and painted them black - can anyone tell me how to physicaly open the headlight? I have the headlight here.


The lens is surrounded by many black plastic clips, to I just pull them back and pull off the black plastic, or is there more to it? I don't want to break the bloody thing, any ideas?

Here's an idea. Leave them alone. They will look best that way.

i did mine. you need a heat gun and some marine grade sealant. its acually preatty easy just time consuming. but it looks tight. i will post pics eventually. any questions e-mail me.

ahh the heat gun! that is the missing element thank you very much - any idea where to buy sealent? Hardware store? You think normal household caulk would work?
