Thinking about getting a 2

when I put my crx on a scale it was under 2000 lbs, significantly lighter than the 2. I don't remember what a stock crx is supposed to weigh, but starting in '89 they did get a little heavier. Mine couldn't have been more than 40 or 50 lbs lighter than stock when I weighed it.

That must've been pretty quick. My '88 was autocross prepped (sts2) with koni race shocks, ground control's, tuned ecu, etc. Lots of fun to drive, but not so hot for long road trips. We had a gas shortage in the area so I was forced to daily drive it for awhile, and since high octane was near impossible to find I had to hyper-mile it everywhere. Got 45 mpg that tank. When I sold it, I had 2 offers within 2 hours of posting it and sold it for more than I bought it (and almost for what I had put into it).

Gas shortage? Hurricane comin'? Nice set up you had. I actually sold mine on eBay to a kid in South Carolina and also for more than i bought it for. It was super quick.
