I didn't know having an auto was rice. You come off soundeding like you know very little and want to win people over with your hatered of rice.
Just be yoursel,f and if people want to do things you considr tacky, just don't do it. Some people have to have an auto transmisson, not by choice. Take a look at my sig and you will see my mods.

And the only people going out of their way to bash people are those that have replied. All she did was state her opinions, but I suppose you can't have one huh?

Of course, you are free to have your opinion and to speak it, but she's really going out of her way to make enemies, which is stupid (look, she started a whole thread about it). Anyways, I have nothing to compensate for and I'm sorry some of you felt offended by my post. I never did say your car or your modification was ugly, I just said it didn't look good to me and I wouldn't have it on my car. Some of you became overly-offensive, which is sad, but that's the internet tough guy image. And who the hell said I called all the above "rice"? I hate that term, it's overused...so if you think I called your particular mod or your entire car "rice," read again.
I understand the whole new car model mentality...you want to mod it fast so whatever you find that fits on your P5 or Protege or whatever, you'll put it on there just so it's not stock. As far as stuff I'm putting on my car? That's another thread. As for automatics...it's boring to me to have one. Not many rallye cars or race cars are automatics, but most of the people on this board seem to be mostly show, no go.
It's nice to see how welcome people with opinions are here. Kind of sucks, I was hoping to see a different kind of community from the one I came from (vwvortex) but no...just as bad. Oh well, that's life.

Its interesting how you act like you didnt expect people to respond the way they did, when in your first post you even state yourself that you are probably going to make enemies by your statements. Maybe you should have tried not to piss everyone off by posting something positive, like what you actually do have on your car. And if you actually did have good intentions for posting this crap thread, then explain your reasoning for it. Dont judge our community over something as trivial as this, especially when your first 8 posts consist of what you dislike with no apparent reasoning. But hey, thats life right.

I don't see a problem with lowering an automatic and putting on some nice wheels, or getting header, intake and exhaust for a few extra whp. This car is underpowered stock (yes, even for us "non-racers"), so it's understandable.
Besides P5s are not really even close to be considered raceable cars unless you decide to go w/turbo (and yes, many have) or stick to racing other stock econoboxes (on a track, for crying out loud). But what exactly is wrong with a "show" car? Just because I am only interested in appearance mods (for the most part) does that make me a loser? Because I don't race my P5? Because I don't have any phat "kill stories"? Please, go shoot yourself. P5s aren't exactly meant to be race cars. If I wanted to race I'd save up an extra $10000 and get an Evo.
Everything else I can agree with. Those mods I mentioned above are probably the only things I'd ever consider doing to my P5. It's already gorgeous stock.

especially when my riced out engine bay and neons will destroy your pure stock car. all show and no go. you dont have s*** on your car, and it doesnt matter anyhow. just because someone keeps their car stock doesnt mean they arent enthusiasts. anytime you want to race in the curves, or in a straight line, let me know.
