the found her body today in Sarasota Fl. That really hits home for me cuz I'm from there and have family still there (including a sister-in-law who is 15). It makes me sick that they have her on vid with that guy just moments before he killed her. What I wouldn't give to have 10 minutes alone in a room with that guy who did it. For any of you who have girls, don't let them outta you're sight.....there's a lot of sicko's in this world. This is friggin' horrible.....I'm gonna go throw up now.

edit: Oh, and I actually worked at that car wash where the vid was taken. That was the worst job ever BTW.

I'm sure they'll find out that he ***** her; what a f*k'd up society. This guy has been arrested 13 times -- does that not tell you something is wrong with this guy????? Our justice system needs to wake the f*%^ up before people start taking the law into their own hands.

If I was that poor girl's father I would do everything in my power to kill that son of a b****...there is no way to "repay" that debt. Not even with this bastard's death...but it's a start.

My thoughts and prayers are with Carlie's family...may they find someway to come to peace with all this.

yeah, if he was in Cali he'd already be away for life (3 strike rule) and this could have been avoided. I wish that 3 strike rule was everywhere.

I'm naive about Fla's laws. Is the death sentence applicable there? It's a gut wrenching story. I wanted to be a cop for so long, but this is a perfect example of why I'm not. He'd be brought into the station with a few broken bones. To top it off they bust him yesterday and he wouldn't talk. Can you say billy club to the head a few times to jar his memory. This sort of sh*t always upset me, but since I became a father almost a year ago, seeing things like this angers me to no end. I guess it's because there are people like that who have no respect for human life or for the families of their victims that I'm angry. They have an "urge", or an "impulse". bulls***! I say. I just hope someone manages to get him in prison, make him pay in a way the state can't even imagine.

I agree, the death penalty is too easy. Let him be Big Bubba's little ankle grabber for life. This SOB deserves to be released in an open field, due to a "technicality" where the parents are waiting for him with baseball bats and no cops for miles.

Alot of that depends on whether or not he ***** her. I know in PA, they put rapists and other sex offenders in separate cell blocks because of what the other inmates would do to them. Hopefully FLA. is different. What he really needs is to die a horrific death for every second he made that poor girl suffer. Just a hideous death over and over and over.........
