From my discussions with friends, the following is a fairly common scenario:
Husband: I'm getting tired of my car. I think it's time for me to get a sportier car.
Wife: I don't think so. Your car runs fine. Also (insert other reasons for keeping the current car)
The conversation occurred to me when I mentioned to my wife that I got bored with my Prius and want to get a Speed 3.
Now my question to everyone is, which of the following tactics is preferred:
1. keep bugging her until she changes her mind (which could take an eternity), or until the hybrid battery melts.
2. just go to the dealer, get the MS3, and deal with her wrath ( which could last a few days if I'm lucky, or could last an eternity)
