Dammit. I'll take it to the dealer.

Try holding down the AM button for at least 2 seconds. It turns the sub on and off.

also, the amp for your sub is connected to the non fadeing preout in the back of the head unit. you might wanna check if that preout is off or not. just hold down the system Q button(little blue button with a q on it) and scroll through the options. there is an option that says NF. check the level of that. thats most likely not it. did you do any hard driveing? if so you might have managed to ground the sub or amp somehow. that takes a little more work.

Out of curiousity, is it possible to tap into that preout for an aftermarket amp? If you didn't get the sub are there still wires running to the back of the car?

Hello there,

Is the Amp on? If not, there's a good chance the fuse is blown. The fuse is located on the single power wire that is connected to the positive battery terminal end. (in the engine compartment).

Cheers.

Check to see if the blue light in the triangle on the kenwood amplifier is on also check its fuse under the hood.

hrm, well i checked the amplifyer in the trunk, if you're talking about the light in the middle of the W (of kenWood) then its lit up, but its orange.

and i checked the fuse box, how would i know which ones are good/bad?

If the amp is on then its not the fuse. Atleast nothing simple.
Sorry, I mentioned the wrong color light.
How do all of the connections look especialy the speaker wires adn RCAs. Also, there may be a fuse on the amp, a standard car style fuse, make sure its still ok. You will be able to look through it and see if it is broken.
