The Pro 5 Welcome Package

No paint...

What a drag. I got my welcome package yesterday and it just had a magazine and a "quick tips" card in it.

I'm bummed - I was kinda counting on the touch-up paint, or I'd have ordered some when I ordered my muffler.

Not even any cookies...

The only thing I have receaved is a free oil change. Its better then nothing, but I would have liked the touch up paint (not that I need it yet).

Touch Up Paint and the Welcome Package

I bought my Protege 5 in November, by March I hadn't received a welcome packet or letter--I contacted Mazda Customer Relations, turned out that they had my address wrong in their computer.

I requested Touch-Up paint that other owners said they had received and the welcome packet in March. I received the touch-up paint around the 2nd week of May (it was sent to me directly by customer relations). I'm still waiting for the printed material.

First I got cookies from my dealer before I got the dealer survey. Man, they must have desperate for a good rating :D

Then I got the welcome kit from Mazda. Came in a blue box.

Had a quick facts booklet, dealer accesories for the MP3 and MP5 and a small bottle of Midnight Blue touch-up paint.

sucks that we got that quick tips thing instead of the touch up paint.

however the shipping label says "Caution! Glass enclosed"
were we suppose to get the touch up paint too? i might call customer relations like steph did

Touch up paint is only available to those that know how to huff it. Thanx Mazda.
