A local dealership near my house has a 6 wagon that's just sitting in the grass that's been there all summer. I feel bad for it, the grass is getting taller around it. It's probably an auto and obviously not running.

not sure, the exterior looks to be in good shape. Maybe they took a chance at auction or on a trade and it didn't work out.
I don't know. Any article that starts with something like "We did, however, speak with Mazda bosses who hinted at the following interesting information" immediately raised the speculation red flag. I also see lots of "litres" and references to the British pound (currency), which says if any of that is true it applies to Europe and what we see may be markedly different.
I wonder how closely the 2.0L will resemble the 2.0L in the 3. I can assume the 2.0L and 2.5L in the 3 have the same engine mounting points so perhaps it stands to reason a 2.5L swap into the new MX-5 is feasible? Anyone know how the 2.0L or 2.5L Sky-Activ engines are taking to power mods?

Corksport claims about 10 whp with their intakes and Dynotune (group that does the Playboy Miata race cars) claims they can tune them.
Horsepower is stupid. Goodwin Racing shot a video of the bottom of the car which is nearly flat and has some serious bracing! I'm excited about chassis rigidity and handling!

i can agree and disagree at the same time... while my miata is borderline stupid with the power it has, and you guys with naturally aspirated miatas are just as fast or faster in an autocross... i cant say that the car doesnt make you giggle like a school girl when that turbo starts to spool and you get thrown back in the seat. haha

I stopped at the grocery store this morning before work and always park away from everyone (old habit, this car is so ugly a couple doors dings wouldn't matter). I came out from the store and this guy is slowly driving around my car in circles in his Ford SUV. I gave him the stink eye as I approached my car and he kinda quickly noticed me, nodded and took off. What was that all about? Weirdo.
