The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I was plowing snow, and I'm driving my sister's Saturn Ion, which is 4X4 status compared to most of you guys.

You guys act surprised its snowing in Ohio in winter. Sheesh...

Not surprised about the snow, just surprised I was plowing with my car. I'm also tired of shoveling my driveway, then re-shoveling it when the plow comes 2 days later dumping a 14" snow ridge in my drive.

I'd be in a better mood if my getting up 2 hours early to go to work 2 hours early and get stuff done hadn't turned into 40 minutes of shoveling/car clearing plus a triple length commute, to simply get to work 10 minutes earlier than I usually do, resulting in a tired me and no additional work done and no overtime.

You don't see me using this thread as a "general complaint" thread do ya? Well, now I just did... dammit.

im just saying all this bitching about weather this winter, first person to b**** about the heat this summer is getting throat punched!!

When are we allowed to start making our kids shovel the driveway? Is 7 months old enough? LMFAO

On a better note, the coffee keeps flowing this morning, and it's delicious.

lol

Side note we did go past the highest snow fall amount in a season over here. I think we have had 73" so far.

I'd rather have snow than the ridiculous cold, any day of the week. However, I've had enough snow for this season. I'm not gonna b**** about it because I live on the edge of the snow belt and expect this sort of thing. But expecting it doesn't mean I have to enjoy it.

If I was driving the RX7, or hell even if I was driving the 6 (and it was actually running) I'd probably be in a much better mood about the snow.

Yay for food trucks! Schmidt's had their sausage truck at the building I had my morning meeting at. Always good stuff.

Also found out today that there is a Melt downtown & Tom & Chee is coming sometime this summer.

Just got up and shoveled the driveway and then got the waggin out on the unplowed street. I must say, the DWS's handled the 6-8" of snow very well.........really nice that the snow was past my knees in some part of our yard.......I know it will be coming to an end soon!!!

Toro Power Curve 1800, best damn investment. This thing was blowing snow 30-40 feet today. The wind was helping some, but this thing is a beast. When i'm done, i pick it up and but it in the garage. No need to mix the gas or pull start it, it just goes. The extension cord can be a bit of pain sometimes, but it beats shoveling by hand.
