The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I can play now, where would it happen?

That would be fun, but could be very expensive. I'd be down, but it should be outside. My boss is cool with one or two friends shooting after work here, but I couldn't get away with any more. Anyone know a good place to shoot outside, preferably someplace free.

Some place free would be really hard to find I would think. I think the easiest thing you could do is fine a range that can accommodate a larger group and work out a cheaper rate with them.

Depends. We really just need an open field with a mound of dirt. Outside is nice when you are shooting some distance. I like to shoot 50-100 yards in rifle, 25 max at most ranges sucks.

Anyone own a farm then? (lol2)

besides Will? maybe we can shoot some apples!

Although I don't own any firearms, I have a friend with a bunch of open land with an area for shooting. problem is those of you with lowered cars might have to do a bit of walking to get to where the shooting would be. Let me see what I can do over the weekend.

Central location would be handy for everyone coming from the north and south.

I concur, that would be really fun, Larry! As long as we're all super careful with our firearms. Tessa's parents live in the country and have room in the back yard and was fine with my sister, Tessa and I shooting there but then her dad got worried he would get in trouble if anything bad happened on his property so he asked us not to shoot there anymore. I was so stoked to have a free outdoor range too... :(

Thanks for the link/form, Thomas. But if the future father-in-law says "Nah, I'm not really cool with it." then I don't want to push him, haha. He hates guns anyway. His wife has a .22 though.

Fair enough. It sounds however that Tessa needs to pull the "Daddy *batting eyes* please" card. Haha

Haha, yeah, I'm not pushing it. Tessa likes shooting but holy hell is she careless. I had to yell at her to keep her finger off the trigger until she's ready to shoot like 3 times. I felt like I was teaching a 4 year old. Then she gets all mad at me for yelling at her, but s***, woman! You're holding a gun! It's not a torque wrench! haha

I might bring her to the range someday since she really wants to go but she still scares me...

edit- thanks, Jake. I'll check our their site when I get home. "weapons" are blocked here at work.

Just waiting on money to purchase the glass for it, and my scope mount will be here today.

If you need/want more mags, my brothers got several that he will probably want to unload.

Oh man is it awesomely bad out! Had a ton of fun the hour I was out. Should have went out a little earlier before some of the roads got plowed BUT neighborhoods still had 4-5" of untouched snow :D
