The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Sad that I'm already looking forward to Friday and hopefully picking up the Nate's MSP to bring her to her new home. Would be sweet to somehow have both of them at the meet on November 17th.

I don't blame you, I was just shocked when I saw that! I don't see many days in the long range forecast left to drive the Miata.

I'm suprised it has been this nice out this late in the year for having a some what mild summer.

What are these snow tires you speak of? I've only ever had 1 set of snow tires and the 1 is still on the car. I'll have to take a pic this weekend of my setup right now. My friends laugh at how bald my tires are and I still autoX and drive her in the rain. Gotta do what you gotta do. Just can't be a idiot when you're doing ;)

You'll have a brand new set of 16" all seasons on Friday, just have to have them mounted. Problem solved.

SCORE! I would rather not have to drive either MSP this winter, but I would rather sell the Prism sooner than later.

What? Throw some weight in the trunk and drive her all year round...oh wait, forgot you have the AWD beast lurking by. lol If/when I buy one she'll be my year round dd. :)

No way I'd subject the Miata to salt. :)

Corey what's the plan for your herd of MSPs? I missed it if you already explained.

Good point and seeing that yours is in pretty damn good shape I don't blame you. In my case, my daughter would get the 'beater' (P5) so if I were to park the Miata for the winter I'd need to buy a winter beater for myself. If I were to pitch that idea to the wife her response would simply be "don't buy a Miata then". If I can find one that is in decent shape (rust wise) then I plan on getting it rust proofed to help protect it.

With winter tires they aren't bad at all in the winter. Perfect weight distribution helps a lot. As long as you keep the drains behind the doors from getting clogged you it should be fine as far as rust goes.

He's going to collect them all!

Seriously though, Since I've joined the forum in 2009 they have become less and less with part outs and being totaled. Him having 2 might give him 1% of what's left.

Winter tires would be the first 'mod' done for sure.

Hey Nate, OSU proved to be too much for Iowa. They played tough most of the game but in the end OSU has better athletes and made the plays. Corey could always use one as a donor also to keep the other on the road, unless that is his intention and I missed it?

Yeah, They kind of went away from the tight end dump pass that was eating up yards and OSU did enough to win.

He's going to DD my (i can still say that since it's in my garage) MSP and turn his into a straight SMF racer

just got an e-mail from the vice president of mortgage sales asking how an ARM loan works...really wanted to send a Fry not sure if serious meme.
