The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

While I have enjoyed seeing my family and eating awesome food, it is just too ******* hot... 86 the whole ******* day... its 10:30 and it hasnt cooled down.

Here are a few shots.

The car I learned to drive in, 1979 Renault 4. My aunt had the engined swapped from a 1.3L to a 1.8. Itll be sold soon, but the replacement is a good one.

Replacement, 2002 Protege (called Allegro here). 1.6L, 90,000 kilometers (55k miles), drives good. Engine bay is pretty clean.

Maybe I'm crazy but I would totally rock that renault. No lol either.

i was just chuckling picturing little Pablo driving that thing. It IS pretty cool, though!! And that protege is lookin' pretty mint for an '02 with low miles!! Maybe we all need to go to ColOmbia to buy our used Mazdas!!

Have fun Pablo and take more pics!!

Last day of work for us this week. Heading down to ATL in the am for another fun weekend of Grand-Am Racing!!!!! woohoo!! (and visiting with my Sis and nephew is an added bonus!) oh, along with seeing the Maff's, too!! I want to squeeze Michael's cheeks : )

So, the boss walked monday and our assistant (who put in his 2 week notice last week) decided to walk this morning...how do you run a parts dept with 3 guys for 18 hrs a day?

hey Corey, you arent by chance going to be at the Quaker Steak and Lube meet next Saturday are you?

I want to, but I'm a little low on funding right now. If I can sell me extra RH's and firebird stuff I will, but I don't know if that is going to happen. Little Adam owes me money too for the Rcomps that I sold him, but he hasn't started his internship yet. I have a feeling I won't be doing much until I get back from our honeymoon.

what firebird stuff have? anything 2nd gen f-body universal?

With plenty of paid overtime, and maybe a promotion/pay raise

It's not really child labor if it's entertainment right? You could hire Kennedy to distract the customers while you 3 run around like chickens with your heads cutoff.

This one is old, pretty beat up but in decent shape. Ive driven some with upgraded suspension and some engine work, theyre fast and fun to drive. Only thing weird isa that the shifter is int he center console, right in the middle (where the radio usually is)...

Last night I was asking my dad if it would be possible to buy used cars here and send them there (I know you cant the other way around), there are so many used mazdas here, models that you rarely see over there!

It's all off of my 1980 Formula that I had. Here is a link to the CL page I have it posted on.

I've had offers, but for some reason retards around here think $200 for everything is too much. I have to get back with a guy this Friday. He might be coming down from Michigan, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

it's asking me to login as if I'm you

Crap the post just expired a couple days ago. I'll have to repost it with the pics when I get back home. I'm at school and don't have the pics on me. Basically it is a 1980 formula hood, deck lid, both doors (they lower skins), wheels, and front bumper.

Just get a Columbian Drug Lord to smuggle it over on a boat. Haha. But wouldn't the deciding factor to ship it here be if it meets emission standards. I was told that's why you can't get a lot of Japanese model cars here because they don't meet American emissions standards.

Yikes, dont overwork yourself.

HA!! Individual Commission....

don't tempt me. (poke)

I'm thinking about getting another dog, any of you guys have some clever, car related dog names?

Right now my favorite is Lotus.

FWIW, the dog I'm looking at adopting is a female black lab.
