I don't think it's a good sign for SU/SURE when people are trying desperately to offload their gift cards haha.
They just don't have things I need\want for the cars I have. I tried to use it for the tru-boost, but I got tired of waiting.
Well they don't have the best rep
are you getting it welded by eric's brother? was it welded to the intake manifold or the same spots where the stock IC is mounted? To clarify the boost tube/intercooler situation.
The cold side boost tube was about 1/2 inch shorter than stock. It didnt fit snug against the throttle body unless you bent the tube enough to put a kink in it. It really want a problem until the front two mounting tabs on the intercooler broke. Once that happened, the ibtercooler would rock back and pull the boost tube up and off the throttle body. The TMIC was the bigger problem, the tube was usable for 50k miles ubtil the mounts on the intercooler snapped.
Nice gotta get it back to where it was.Same spots as stock tmic. I'll be talking to eric about it later this week.
And now I am no longer bored at work. Thanks, Jess!
Well they don't have the best rep and honestly I'm surprised they haven't just "closed" the SURE stuff and then rebranded it under a new name. Or start making stuff for a different platform. Hell just make stuff right the first time and do the proper testing and none of this would be happening in the first place. I mean they still have stuff I need but so does edge and they run 10x more sales than street unit does
someone on the Mazdaspeed Pittsburgh group found parts that looked identical to the Sure parts, which he assumed were just rebranded and then put on ebay haha
