OMG! (I immediately thought of the guy on the right in that pic, not mentioning any names) ... and what was the crashed focus guys forum name? redryder? or redrobin? i can't even remember anymore ... that's for SURE one Mohican Fun Run we'll never forget!! LOL
what about Honda Civics? I leased an '01 and had no problems with it. They last a long time, but I guess may be pricier than an focus. : /

FWIW, the best used cars I drive at the garage are Honda's, 90% of the time you can feel the car is solid no matter how old. Most of the other ones are in pretty bad shape, and most of the Mazdas that come in are relatively new.

also, just went on to mymazda.com to add the ms3 (didn't realize I already had the 6 on there)(and only did it today because i got the pamphlet in the mail from them). there's a box to look in for "enthusiasts' clubs" and Cleveland6Club and OAC are still on there. LOL they need to update their list!

I retract my offer, Larry.
Ironically the Milly stalled on me on my way home from work on the highway. She was surging and running rough like she wasn't getting fuel or spark. I pulled over at the next exit and put the hazards on and she wouldn't fire up again. After a couple minutes she shuttered to life and I limped her into an empty parking lot with enough room for a tow truck. Shut her down and let it sit while I contemplated what to do. I started her up again and she's running fine now. I came straight home and popped the hood, checked all the spark plug wires for cracks, the disty, all the connections and cleaned the MAF. i drove around the block a few times and everything seems fine and idle is normal. I'm baffled. But yeah, I won't be selling the car until I can figure out why it stalled. Not that your daughter wants my old man car anyway.
Today I filled out a car loan application online with my bank and am waiting to hear back. The Milly must be pissed at me... haha
