The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Haha. Tell him at some point after I return from China. Probably summer-ish because I need to fix a couple things.

lol...I'll let him know...hell bring it out as-is and we'll let him slide under the car. He has smaller hands and fingers. haha Funny how he remembered that and just said it out of the blue yet when I tell him for the upteenth time to pich his shoes up off the living room floor...they are still there.

lol.

so when are you going to grow up phen?

Never....this trip to 'China' is really to Neverland*. ;)

Who wants to go hiking? It's freaking beautiful out. This is when I wish I had a dog.

I would If I lived closer. The kids hate walking more than 1/2 mile though. I love being outdoors.

Oh man, Jess. Do Ducatti's have sidecars? Then I could literally be a third wheel. I make myself laugh and that's all that matters. My mom thinks I'm funny.

I'm more of the running type. I've never been able to gain weight because of my eating habits and crazy metabalism. It is a lot of dedication and I love my bacon and hoho's :) hence the need to run. Plus April doen't want me to have a lot of muscle. I'll just stick with abs for now.

+1 (to the running part). I really need to get into some kind of regiment though. I forget what it's called but I used to do a lot of training that utilized your body weight instead of free weights back in high school. I really wish I paid more attention to all the different exercises because now I can only remember a few. I've literally swayed +/- 20 lbs in the last four years (unfortunately on the upswing now).

Apparently yesterday wasn't "the day." Here's hoping for today (really don't want to go with an induction)!

I've lost a few more pounds and I'm keeping the new weight, so I'm very happy about that. I also gain weight too easily, especially if I lift weights.

On another note, I took one of the rear wheels off to inspect the brakes. Pins are not stuck, they're actually completely free. The rotor might be in good shape, and the cable for the parking brake is disconnected. I'm thinking the piston in the caliper is seized, the brake fluid is a dark green so that might be the issue. The pads seem to have more than 50% left, but it might be a good idea to replace them.

i've had my rear wheels off the last 2 nights also Pablo...

On tuesday i came home from work with a smoking hot rotor again. pulled everything apart and cleaned it all. pads and pins seemed to be moving fine.

yesterday though, same thing. i pulled the ebrake with the caliper off to get the piston to extend out (not a mechanical ebrake on the speed6) then spun it back in. i think it was a little hung up. seemed better this morning on my drive in...hopefully it'll last this time. i've replaced both calipers once already...i don't want to do it again.

the only other thing i can think of is maybe theres some blockage in the brake lines. i bled them probably 6 months ago, but i didn't completely drain the system...maybe i need to do that.

edit: by "drain" i don't mean literally. more "swap"

damn, you're not having any luck with those brakes... btw, I still have you Bier Haus certificate

I ordered the Haynes manual for the truck, should be here tomorrow. The parking brake thingy looked pretty weird, I've no idea how it works, kinda seems like it has drum brakes just for the ebrake and caliper for the normal braking, I dunno.

Cycling is where it's at. Eva Longoria does it.
