The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Like how you're always wearing athletic wear. Are you on your way to or from a basketball game? -Bazinga

^I still think it's funny when I see everyone wearing "driving shoes" out in public. hehe

What's next? "Gee, it's a bit chilly out tonight, let me put on my Simpson fire coat" ?!?

don't people typically have to DRIVE to get out to public?

Dammit, I need to find a place that sells them. I love My pair of Avus. Except for the fact that a lot of us bought them through the group buy and we have to look pretty funny when we all wear them to events.

Precisely why I've only worn mine a handful of times. Plus they hurt the hell out of my feet. My Prototipos on the other hand were my main walking shoe in Beijing. I really wish I would have bought the red Prototipos instead of the Avus', but crap happens.

I think what didn't help Piloti was that the shoes were "too good." It took forever for the soles to start wearing out on mine, and they're still comfortable for walking around shoes.

Sorry, I like to be more comfortable than wearing clothes that are 2 sizes too small for me.

But hey, if you're cool flashing everyone your tramp stamp every time you bend over, no judgement here. :)

(waiting for all the "eww dude, why are you looking at Evan's lower back???" comments. lulz)

Yea, but are they "racing" to get there? No? Then why do they need shoes that are designed for racing?

Taking a highway on/off ramp 15mph faster doesn't necessarily require racing attire to execute. hahaha

but they help me drive flat out

Put some sound deaden-er under the rear seat, not a huge difference but small noticeable one. Just need the time to switch out the motor mounts and to see where I'm at.

He's got to accent his girlish figure that's transforming into a full blown American... ;)

But personally I hate baggy clothing. It hinders my ninja-like movements.

Ut oh! (referring to the MSP on my 2nd run) Pretty soon I'll be able to work on my car with my eyes closed.

Lol well i was goin fishing and wanted to try somewhere new. Ended up at deer creek. Caught a dozen or so. Average size was about a ft. Biggest was like 20". Since i don't have a fun car to work on anymore i just fish a lot

Nothing says "happy first father's day" like having your daughter pee all over your crotch...........twice.

.....the hell did I get myself into????? (lol2)

Wow I can't believe I finished 4th by 3.2 seconds when I lost power coming down the back straight before the last long curved solom. The car died and shut off before the last 2 cones on the solom. Oh well, maybe next time I'll get a chance at the Stangs. Funny that I still would have placed almost 4th with 3 people in the car on my first run. Hopefully next weekend or sometime soon I can find out what kind of oil pressure I have and go from there. No pressure probably means just a new pump and make sure everything else is clear to go. Thinking about maybe running a dry sump system for next year. First I need to do more research for that and have the car up and running before Aug. 26th to at least race 5 events and hopefully take 1st in SM for NWOR. A little over 2 months and counting and only time will tell.

That's what I thought but then I wasn't sure if that was some kind of auto-x slang that I didn't know about or what. lol
