The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

or how many threads/posts are asking the same questions that have been answered several times already.
this is why a new miata forum was recently created.... that stuff got annoying lol...

I really only have 1 car considering the 79 TA doesn't see daylight until May or June and unless I put skies on the front on the CBR I'm screwed for snow driving. I can't believe my car moves inthis crap with bald tires. SLD FTW!
CBR with skies--do it!!

O ryly? I recall your motor oil not registering on the dipstick on two separate occasions, buddy. Burn! hahaha.

But yeah, I agree with Phen and aMaff (for once, lulz) about not tracking it if you can't sacrifice it to a wall. God forbid, of course. But what do I know, I'm just a track poser. Self inflicted burn! haha
I figured the 2 wouldn't go fast enough to really do any damage... but I think I did hit 90 on the back straight at Nelson lol.

Not to change any subjects but is anyone up for a Winking Lizard meet soon? I haven't seen the crew in a while.
me

Did you check the ABS fuse under the hood on the 3? That will cause a constantly on ABS light also.
I wasn't able to remove what I determined was the fuse, it has some sort of factory "seal" on it. I was too nervous to take it off. Wheel sensor wires look good, no worn areas.

Do MSP's have trunk lights?

yes they do but the question was for my co-worker's land rover. He's replaced almost everything major electrical part over the past couple years and it just started happening. Trying to see if I can help him out any, the shop can seem to find anything.

but which one?

Which one indeed!! Muahahah!!!

Going to look at the Cbus one tonight. It's in Reynoldsburg...probably be down around 7:15-7:30 depending on traffic.

He's an older guy, 47, recently divorced, just wants something else and to have money to put down on a bike. He also mentioned it has an intake and Magnaflow exhaust. haha

I thought they did on the rear deck in the center...been a while since I've been in my trunk

Oooooo. Then my answer is that it's British.

But seriously... look to find the amplifier for the radio. European cars are typically negatively switched, and sometimes the amp will stay on.

Now I see the problem Nate...it's a Land Rover...haha So he's had it a shop and they can't source the problem? Intriguing....

LMAO Josh...selling the P5 for a the bigger 6wagon and to get away from mods and might possibly be purchasing one with intake and Magnaflow...ironic no? haha

amps will drain a battery realatively fast though. You could be shorting on something or maybe even grounding out somewhere.

Sometimes, but they're rather small amps. A co-worker's son had a Jetta with a Monsoon setup. With no feed signal, the only power they use is what they need to stay on. It would drain the Jetta battery in about 4 days.

That's what I thought too when he told me. lol

He said he has all the stock parts though, so that's a big plus. I can sell the aftermarket stuff to recoup money!
