And in other news, my neighbor Kevin has his eyes on a '06 MS6! It's got less than 40K on it, but it's led a peculiar life. Started out in Hawaii, where I guess it was wrecked hard. The ad says it has a salvage title, but he went and looked at it last night, and they told him there that the title still says it's clean, because HI doesn't do salvage/rebuilt titles? Then it spent some time in South Carolina, before ending up in some auction in New Jersey where this lot bought it. He said there are some minor imperfections here and there, but overall, it looks good and drives even better!
He was gonna crunch some numbers (probably means talk to the wife. lol) and see how feasible it would be. Then if he's serious, he's gonna take me to look at it so I can check out the repairs. He'll need to see how much he can get for his 6 wagon though. A part of me wants to see how much I could get for my car so I could buy it from him! But I keep thinking to myself....rust free/heavily rustproofed southern car > 7 year old Ohio car. lol

When you say wrecked hard, the first thing that pops into my head is it had the balls ran off of it. Street racing crash in daddys car kinda stuff. Only 40k miles though, I would have to give it a good hard look too. Kevin's car is pretty sweet as I recall, hard to resist but I think you are right. Besides I doubt you would get enough to avoid getting a car payment out of the deal.
